When I say "our" it makes the two plates of pani-puri. One from me (Beena) and one from the more sweeter and prominent contributor - Alpa.
"World is a small place"! This is so apt for us. I stay in United States whereas Alpa is on the other side of the world - Australia. Our worlds have got together not just cause of our strong friendship, but also cause of the excitement we share for the food we cook. If I say Alpa is a better cook than me, it would be a very modest statement - not from my side but from Alpa's. She is "the" cook amongst both of us. I just try my hands at some food now and then and try some of my mom's recipes.
The idea behind this blog is to share our food cooking experiences with friends and family. I secretly plan to share my failures and not just successes ;-). We plan to share the links/places/people from where/whom we got the base recipes. Especially the special small tips that we get from our friends and our strongest support group - our moms.
While starting this blog the question that obviously came to our mind was - How would this be different from the other several thousand food blogs. Well it may not be but it shouldn't stop us from sharing our food cooking love with anyone who visits us :). Hope you enjoy as we are enjoying this food journey!
